SKATE CENTRE & SHEARING SHED

Historically know as the Axemen’s Shed, this building was originally constructed to house the Axemen’s Club, which was established to practice the sport of woodchopping – a popular event showcased at the annual A&P Show held here in Murchison.

Today, the shed also serves as the venue for the shearing events during the annual A&P Show.

Outside of show time, the facility transforms into a covered skate area, featuring a range of purpose-built obstacles. It is free to use at any reasonable time.
